The annual Third Ward on Tap festival once again brought the community together for a day of entertainment, local resources, and celebration along the historic Columbia Tap Trail. With more than 40 organizations and exhibitors participating, attendees had the opportunity to connect with community partners, enjoy giveaways, and learn about programs and services available throughout the area. The Middle Ground Development Group team was proud to be part of the event, hosting a booth where visitors could learn more about the organization’s efforts to create attainable housing opportunities in the community.
The festival also featured live performances by talented young musicians from Workshop Houston, adding to the energy and excitement of the day. Guests were invited to celebrate the trail’s history and impact while picking up a complimentary copy of the Fair Housing Defenders comic book, What’s Your Destination?, a fun and educational resource promoting fair housing awareness.
